The Ton April Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is The Ton April Challenge - Anything Goes. Below is the challenge photo:

I snapped some dahlia photos last summer when we had a trip to Eureka, there is a little garden next to the zoo and planted assorted colors of dahlia. Below are two photos I love the most:

Based on the inspiration of the above dahlia photos, here is the card I made for this challenge:

I stamped the Dahlia Close Up cling background stamp from The Ton on the watercolor paper and embossed with rose gold embossing powder. Then, I applied watercolor on flower petals to create the first layer of colors. Once the watercolor completely dry, I applied prisma color pencils on the flowers to create the second layer of colors and make more depth of the flower image. Finish the card by embossing the rose gold embossing powder on a stripe of vellum with the greeting "You have a heart of gold" (from MFT). Below is the finished card:

And below is another look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: Canson watercolor paper, MFT
Stamps: The Ton, MFT
Ink Pads: Versamark
Others: rose gold embossing powder, vellum, ZIG Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, Prisma color pencils
