Hero Arts Sketch Challenge

Hero Arts has a new sketch challenge now and here is the challenge photo:

I decided to use sketch#2 to make a card. Here is the card I made:

I used the "iron-off embossing" technique to make this card. First, I clear embossed the peacock stamp on the white cardstock and colored the peacock with Distress ink pads and water brush (see below).

I turned on the iron to medium and sandwiched the cardstock with two pieces of white copy paper. Then, I ironed on the top piece of copy paper. The embossed portion will be melted onto the copy paper (see below).

For the background, I used the same iron-off embossing technique. But this time, after I applied the pumice stone and antique linen Distress ink on the embossed background, I sprayed the Perfect Pearls mist on it (see below).

After I ironed off the embossed portion, you will see the background colors look like gold and silver sparkling there (see below). Isn't it beautiful?

After assembling and silver embossing the text on the vellum, I glued some dew drops on the tag to finish this card.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ink Pads: Distress ink pads, Versamark
Others: water brush, clear & silver embossing powders, Perfect Pearls, vellum, dew drops
